Some processes are totally dependent on microbial activity while in other cases, the aim is to keep microbial challenge low. Awareness of new opportunities related to microbiology is increasing in many industrial branches.

The mission of Alimetrics is to be a highly respected agent helping and supporting other companies to convert microbiology-linked opportunities to commercial success factors. We provide high -quality R&D services in the area of microbiology to the clients with the best products on the market. For the purpose, Alimetrics has developed a portfolio of R&D service tools that cover all stages of product development and life cycle management.

However, technological issues rarely hinder R&D outsourcing. The challenges lie in the area of contracting: confidentiality, subcontracting agreements, project schedules and risk sharing. Alimetrics is aware of these challenges and has therefore created operational guidelines to provide the easiest possible access to our R&D services.

Alimetrics guidelines to facilitate co-operation with client companies

  • All projects are conducted under strict confidentiality agreements that bind each party in the collaboration. The confidentiality agreements are signed before project planning
  • We never propose identical projects or use confidential knowledge to the benefit of new incoming clients. However, if we see cross-industrial opportunities we try to catalyse discussions between the companies involved
  • We always prepare a written plan for each project. The plan describes the work in detail and provides a binding schedule and budget for the project. This procedure transfers the risk of project delays and cost increase to Alimetrics
  • The client owns the results from the projects. The results are transferred to the client in the form of a detailed written report and oral presentation. The client can thereafter use data provided for trade exhibitions, publications, patenting or any other purpose
  • We keep project financing as simple as possible and therefore, there are no hidden costs or royalty tails in our projects. The project is invoiced after the final report has been accepted by the client
